Wanslea’s Philosophy:
Wanslea strives for a sustainable service that is recognised for providing quality care and education to children through partnerships with Educators, Families and the Community.
Wanslea values diversity of all cultures and will create an environment that is supportive and sensitive to the values and beliefs of individual families and communities.
Wanslea provides opportunities for children to feel safe, secure and supported through stable environments and mutually respectful relationships.
Wanslea will provide a holistic approach when caring and educating children by understanding that the child is capable, competent and successful in their learning.
Wanslea values open communication which encourages feedback to assist in continuous improvement of our service.
The role of each Wanslea Family Day Care Service is to co-ordiante a network of educators in a given area. Our primary responsibilites include registering educators and ensuring that they are fit and proper people to be in the company of children. We also support educators in their role of caring for children to ensure that high standards of education and care are evident, the administration of government funding and Child Care Subsidy.
